Uz druhym dnem laboruji, mam za sebou nespocet preinstalaci a vyslo me z toho par zajimavych udaju. Abych nekomu pripadne usetril cas s laborovanim, zjistil jsem nasledujici:

1) Orezana verze WinXP Pro SP2 pres nLite:
:arrow: Velikost instalacky: 156 MB
:arrow: Misto na disku po instalaci: 416 MB
:arrow: Vyuziti pameti po startu: 87 MB
:arrow: Pamet jadra: 19 MB

2) Klasicka (full) verze WinXP Pro SP2:
:arrow: Velikost instalacky: 600 MB
:arrow: Misto na disku po instalaci: 1,07 GB
:arrow: Vyuziti pameti po startu: 97 MB
:arrow: Pamet jadra: 18 MB

Samozrejme oba dva pripady jsou se zakazanym strankovacim souborem. V druhem pripade jeste nebylo pristoupeno k "orezu" nepotrebnych veci ve Win, nicmene co se tyce vyuziti pameti/jadra, je to naprosto zanedbatelne. Zvlast kdyz uvazim, ze v prvnim pripade bylo stare W2K prostredi a brutalne orezany system a ve druhem pripade klasicke full XP.

Moje osobni zkusenost - trapit se s nLite trnout co zase bude chybet = nestoji to za to (po 2 pokusech jsem to vzdal), dle mne jelepsi klasicka plna instalace, a nasledne ji umravnit s XPlite. Neorezu to tak jak s nLite, ale porad to bude prijatelne velke, a slusne funkcni, na rozdil :)

Tak dobře, nainstaluju full XP. Ty čísla u Full XP jsou po přezání podle oficiálního návodu v brožurce u Eee, nebo prostě full instalace? Do toho nLite se mi fakt moc nechce...

Full je proste FULL, zadne navody, proste klasicka instalacka a klasicka instalace.

U nLite přece záleží na tom, co konkrétě ořežu. Sám jsem takovou instalaci dělal několikrát a pokud vím co nepotřebuju a rozumím tomu, osekám XPčka, aniž bych si znepřístupnil to, co hodlám provozovat. Ušetřit se dá.

I na SSD disk se dají XPčka instalovat do souborovýho systému NTFS, následně (citlivě) vybrat adresáře a zkomprimovat. Pak zakázat aktualizaci posledního přístupu k souborům, aby se omezil zbytečnej zápis.

Velice vhodný je použít i File Base Write Filter - filtr zabraňující zbytečným zápisům - dá se konfigurovat na úrovni souborů a adresářů.

Pak musí být radost s takovým strojem pracovat.

tak ja jsem ted udelal svou instalaci jen lehce orezanou o zbytecne funkce a lepsi bezpecnost a taky jsem integroval SP3 a lita to jak radioaktivni rybicka :D
