zdravim vas, velmi silno uvažujem nad kúpou EEE 901, chcel by som na ňom prevadzkovať linux ( nemam s nim moc velke skusenosti, prave preto ) ale klasicke distribucie ako ubuntu/kubuntu mi pridu graficky moc fádne velmi sa mi páči OSx, avšak na 901 spravne nepobeži, preto by som vas chcel poprosiť aby ste mi poradili distribuciu linuxu s graficky podobnymi prvkami ako ma osx myslim všetky tie srandy pri minimalizovani a usporaduvani okien na ploche ale aj inymi vychytavkami za napady budem vďačny

4kolac: Podobná témata se řešila, možná i řeší, v této části fóra. Hezký článek o tom je také na . Pokud jde o vzhled linuxu (i *buntu) alá OSX, tak mám pro Tebe dobrou zprávu: Každou distribuci, kterou si do éééčka dáš si budeš moci "naskinovat" téměř k nerozeznání od originálního Macu - je spoustu prostředí, které se o to postarají (Compiz, Beryl, ad.). Stačí trochu pátrat po netu. Ničeho se tedy neboj, a hurá do toho.

Na své 701 to nemám, protože si to samozřejmě něco vezme z výkonu. Ale obdobně je na tom i "ten druhý OS". Nechceš-li obětovat část výkonu, nemusíš realizovat "OSX like" jenom Compizem, nebo Berylem a doplňky. Realizace jde i úspornějšími prostředky. Stačí trochu "googlit", a nebo se podívej na do sekce Pracovní plocha a Vzhled oku lahodící... Provoz na baterie pod linuxem je na tom obdobně jako u Win +- 30min. Když použiješ odladěné jádro... Jinak životnost baterie = tzv. "doživotní" záruka (6 měsíců?)

mám na eee 701 na ubuntu a nepozoruju žádný velký rozdíl, ve výkonu, jen bootování trvá trochu déle, je dobré hlavně dát upravené jádro pro eee a další úpravy o kterých píšou např. na linux expressu vzhled se dá udělat opravdu jakýkoliv

v soucastnosti bych osobne sel do Xandrosu pokud bych mel volit neco jineho nez XP-cka driv nebyl moc podporovany ale v soucasnosti je na tom docela dobre vysla hromada updatu atd. nabyzi instalaci aplikaci primo pres WWW stranky pro toho kdo linuxu nerozumi jako ja a nebavi ho laborovat je to myslim ideal
